TUESDAY Group work time: Within your group of three, 1) write a paragraph summary, 2) create a visual representation, and 3) prepare a 2-minute spiel that describes the essence of your assigned TED Talk. Additionally, each person in your group must craft one open-ended "essential question" that is inspired from your assigned TED Talk. Your goal, as a group, is to deliver the important information (including evidence and examples!) from your TED Talk that express the speaker's main message. Your group can either divide and conquer tasks 1-3 or collaborate on all of them. WEDNESDAY 1) Gallery walk, presentations and debrief. 2) Break students into groups, select research topics. For my class specifically, your first Checkpoint is on Monday, which will include questions and word problems requiring the use of the Pythagorean Theorem and SOHCAHTOA.
