1. Color-code the mini periodic table handed out in class and affix it into your chemistry notebook (staple, tape, or glue). Make sure you also color code the blank key on the table.
2. On a new page in your notebook, complete the Periodic Table Pre-Lecture Assignment: Write down as many patterns as you see in the periodic table. Consider any patterns, either in letters or numbers, that you see down a column and across a row. * If you were on the field trip to CVPD today, skip a page for the periodic table. Click on this link to a digital periodic table and analyze it for patterns. Write these in your notebook. 3. Read "Organizing the Elements."
